Local Providers in Ventura County and
Los Angeles County

After Hours Pediatrics works with local providers (pediatricians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants) in Ventura County and Los Angeles County, California to provide a convenient and comfortable place for parents to bring their children when your office is not open. We believe it is important for children to be seen by their primary care provider whenever possible.  As such, we only offer services on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

After Hours Pediatrics is not a substitute for a child’s primary care provider. We do not offer immunizations, well-child visits, or school or sports physicals. We believe it is in each child’s best interest for his or her primary care provider to perform these services.

After each visit, we fax a copy of the child’s medical record, including our provider’s notes and lab reports to your office so you can follow up with your patients. We instruct parents and guardians to follow up with your office, as well.

Finally, we have a strict policy of not referring patients to other providers or groups.  You work hard to establish relationships with your patients, and you can be sure we will keep those relationships strong. If a patient without a provider asks us for a referral, we provide an alphabetized list of all the pediatric providers in the community (including address and phone number) and allow the patient to choose independently.
